1. Give us a brief introduction to your company?

 NectarBits is a mobile and web development company that started its operations from Ahmedabad, India in 2009. The company boasts to deliver IT services to global clients and help their businesses thrive with customer-centric solutions.

I (Himanshu Patel) am a founder of the company but alongside playing different roles such as govern sales and marketing team, work as a technical leader, and behave more like a coach to improve collaboration and co-operation among the technical workforce.

2. What are the services you offer to your clients?

Primarily, the company offers mobile and web development services. In the fierce competition, the technical maestros help businesses to address the dynamic challenges by introducing IoT, wearable, Chatbot, and AR/VR technologies in conjunction with app development services. Additionally, digital marketing, maintenance and support, and QA & testing services work like icing on the cake.

3. In this intensely competitive era, what technologies, services, and project models can give you an edge over your competitors?

Our team works around advanced technologies and tools, updated OS versions, and modern languages that help businesses get an edge through the competitive application. Mainly, we use React, and Node technologies for web and mobile app development as they meet the changing needs of the market and help the businesses get modern apps (Native-like app development and cross-platform development).

We prefer the agile model over the waterfall methodology as the project is broken into several sprints where every sprint includes a set of features and the timeline to complete the sprint. As the sprint gets completed, it’s sent to the clients for approval and to prevent unforeseen pullbacks. It enables building the app that stays in sync with the client’s expectations from the beginning. This satisfaction leads to client retention.

4. How has being an entrepreneur affected your family & Social life?

I take pride in striking a fine balance between personal and professional life even during hectic schedules or utter busyness of meetings. It’s definitely that easy, but I successfully manage it from the beginning.

5. Whom do you consider your idol or biggest motivator?

Steve Jobs is my idol and even, I started the company following his working philosophy- meeting the unmet needs of the businesses.

7. After service is a necessary part of development. How do you provide customer support to your client?

We provide customer support to the clients in various ways through various means of communication such as phone, chat, SMS, email, SMS, Skype, and others. The ticket is raised for every complaint we receive from the client and then it’s allocated to the concerned executive for resolution. When the desk executives are unable to resolve the complaint, it’s escalated to upper-level executives.

8. What are your hobbies? What do you do in your non-work time?

I take interest in reading books of different genres. During non-working hours, my family is my priority and I like to spend time with them by playing chess or table tennis or watching movies with them. Less often, I prefer traveling with my friends and family too.

9. Have you raised any funding? Or have any plans for the funding?

To date, we never raised any funding. Right now, we don’t have any plans in place for it. But it depends. However, I don’t prefer to raise funds.

10. Give your opinions on how far this app revolution can make a difference in the technology world?

Let’s accept it: App development is the hottest trend in the technology world and business world, that’s here to stay. With digital device proliferation, the 5G network, and emerging technological advancements, the apps have transformed the lives of users forever. In everything we do, there’s an app for that, which is making things a click away from us.

11. What latest technologies and tools you’re planning to implement for mobile app development?

As discussed before, emerging technologies like- AR, VR, IoT, and AI are creating waves in the market with the ultimate convenience and comfort they are offering along with usability quotient. We are using the MEAN stack for web development.

12. What’s your approach to creating interactive and addictive UX/UI of mobile apps and websites?

UI/UX can make or break the app’s success, if not engineered well. The minimalistic design is a trend that we follow to craft the user-centered interface. Our team makes extra efforts to deliver a wow experience through phenomenal designs. Also, Google’s and Apple’s design guidelines are followed to create the industry-best UI that adds value and delights users.

13. Mention the ways you use to introduce new updates to your team.

We arrange the interaction sessions from the beginning of the project to its final delivery to discuss the nitty-gritty of the project and keep everyone on the same page. When any assigned team member is new to technology or tools implementation, then he is trained by the in-house team through lectures, video tutorials, or code examples.

Moving ahead, the team is motivated to work through the modernized workplace and we upskill them (If required) through professional training and workshops that make them up-to-date with technology advancements and new trends.
